How do you tell a radical Muslim (one who interprets the Qu’ran literally, and is willing to lie, cheat, steal, oppress, rape, murder, and mass murder in the name of Islam) from a ‘moderate’ Muslim?

Surely we have at least one Muslim here on this network of well over 40,000 Americans who can explain this to us?

I know that there are a lot of good Muslims, who would refuse to behead, beat to a bloody pulp, and otherwise follow the teachings of the Qu’ran literally, there must be. But where are they, and why aren’t they condemning these disgusting acts?

Moderate Sheikh Abu Adam is alleged to have shouted a verse from the Koran at his wife as he beat her – breaking her nose and shoulder.

The Daily Mail reported:

A Muslim imam who lectures on non-violence and advises the German government on interfaith issues has been arrested in Germany for beating up his wife.

Sheikh Abu Adam, 40, is now on remand in Munich while his wife, 31, is being guarded by police. She was allegedly assaulted so badly that she suffered a broken nose and shoulder and numerous cuts and bruises.

Media reports claimed the woman, who has borne one of his ten children, wanted to live a more ‘western’ lifestyle and was allegedly attacked after telling her husband.

The police said they received a call from a lawyer hired by the victim.

Adam is alleged to have shouted a verse from the Koran at his wife as he beat her.
The line said: ‘Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them.

At least he didn’t behead her.

A New York Muslim leader has pulled a Mohammad and beheaded his wife. Muzzammil Hassan was a community leader and a so called “moderate” Muslim. He was the founder and Chief Executive of Bridges TV a show started to help combat the negative perceptions of Islam and also to build bridges to the non-Muslim world. Does that include beheadings?

Founded TV network to combat negative perceptions of Muslims

Bridges TV founder and Chief Executive Muzzammil Hassan founded the TV network in 2004. According to a Reuters story at that time, “his wife came up with the idea in December 2001 while listening to the radio on a road trip.”:

“Some derogatory comments were being made about Muslims that offended her,” Hassan told Reuters ahead of Tuesday’s launch. “She was seven months pregnant, and she thought she didn’t want her kids growing up in this environment.”

So he founded Bridges TV to combat negative perceptions of Muslims.

But now that he has beheaded his wife, I’m afraid this prominent moderate Muslim will only be feeding those negative perceptions.

Orchard Park police are investigating a particularly gruesome killing, the beheading of a woman, after her husband — an influential member of the local Muslim community — reported her death to police Thursday.

“Obviously, this is the worst form of domestic violence possible,” Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III said today.

Uh, yeah.

Authorities say Aasiya Hassan recently had filed for divorce from her husband.
“She had an order of protection that had him out of the home as of Friday the 6th [of February],” Benz said….
