“Democratic Lawmakers Say Tough Immigration Laws will Hurt the State’s Economy”

ATLANTA, GA (WABE) – Two Democratic state lawmakers talked about how immigration enforcement laws like those passed in Arizona would harm Georgia’s economy.

They say the state’s $65 billion dollar agricultural economy would take a blow.

The lawmakers felt that a legislative committee on immigration reform wasn’t fully looking into the economic costs for increased immigration enforcement.
