I couldn’t agree more with Maggie Gallagher, Chairman of The National Organization for Marriage: The Union, in Marriage, of One Man and One Woman is NOT irrational bigotry, and the States have the RIGHT to define Marriage as it has been defined for Millennia.

The re-definition of marriage, on the other hand, IS irrational, anti-heterosexual, anti-Christian bigotry. Re-defining marriage to include homosexual partnerships, based upon the false notion that a destructive behavior (habitual homosexual anal sodomy and other homosexual acts), or more to the point, a sexual addiction, defines identity, and that identity is the basis for a newly-invented ‘human right’ to ‘equal treatment,’ in effect, declares the NATURAL RIGHT, the CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to the FREE EXERCISE OF RELIGION.

There is no difference between inventing ‘civil rights’ for adulterers, in which churches are prohibited from teaching that adultery is a sin, and inventing ‘civil rights’ for those addicted to homosexual behavior, for the logical conclusion of the so-called ‘equality’ argument is that religion will be barred by federal law from teaching that homosexual sodomy is a sin, despite the fact that it is spelled out in the bible, for all the world to see, for Millennia. Here are God’s words on the subject of homosexual perversion, as per the King James Version of The Holy Bible:

Romans 1:24-32
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet…

Addictions, from illegal drug abuse to pornography to homosexual anal sodomy, or other counterfeits of true loving intimacy, are diseases that need help, not identities, and they certainly shouldn’t be the identity of a group which seeks to silence, and deny the liberty of, religious Americans.

Because of the nature of the false ‘identity’ or ‘equality’ argument, if allowed to stand, it will, in the near future, be illegal for Churches to refuse to perform homosexual marriages, and those who openly embrace their homosexual addictions, and pretend it is an identity, will be able to sue churches for damages, thus destroying churches which do not bow to their demands.

The fact that this is even a news item clarifies the situation: traditional marriage, the traditional family as the basic unit of society, is under direct attack, and has been under sustained assault for decades, and we have yet to EFFECTIVELY fight back; the forces of good (all individuals and organizations which fight to defend the Sanctity of Marriage, and by so doing, defend the Family and our Religious LIberty) have been forced to fall back time and time again. It’s time to hold our position and retake some of the ground we’ve lost in this hot culture war!

Note the ridiculously-biased headline from FNC (I inserted in brackets [ ] a more accurate headline, unedited for length, which replaces Fox News’ radical homosexual sodomy activism-friendly, anti-Marriage euphemistic language in favor of factually accurate, traditional descriptive language). I couldn’t take the reporters’ pro-sodomy activist bias. We get enough of that crap from CNN, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NYT, and the rest of the biased ‘MainStream Media’ (MSM). I refuse to let their false descriptives slide.

Here is how I treated the phrase ‘anti-gay’ in a recent discussion thread:

First of all, let me make myself clear: I love all of God’s children, regardless of religion, age, sex, race, addiction, or other factors. Just because I don’t embrace and celebrate grievous sin, doesn’t mean I hate, or I’m against, individuals who are addicted to, or even embrace, sins of addiction. My principles require that I support freedom, and they also require that I support morality and truth. And the truth is that the idea that those who have a real Same Sex Attraction (SSA) problem are not born that way. A fellow conservative who has written a scholarly E-Book on the subject entitled The Born-Gay Hoax.which does an excellent job of explaining, in depth, the extent of the hoax (which, sadly, is being perpetuated by our government indoctrination centers public schools and the media).

The phrase ‘anti-gay’ is a deception in and of itself. Few things are more irritating than to see that little lie of a phrase bandied about to describe those who believe in the sanctity of Marriage, those who actually believe the Holy Bible to be the Word of God, who believe that God means what he says, and that societal fads and trends cannot define morality better than God Himself.

It’s disgusting,, it’s revolting, and it ought to be totally unacceptable in polite society to call those who don’t pretend that homosexuality is an identity (when it is, in reality, an act, or an addiction to an act, and a grievous sin to boot!) ‘anti-gay.’ In fact, the word ‘gay’ itself is a twisting of the truth, for it implies identity based upon a grievous sin. Honestly, it is an insult to any Child of God to call them ‘gay,’ just like it would be an insult to refuse to call someone a ‘person,’ a ‘human,’ or an ‘individual,’ but to insist upon calling them a ‘thief,’ adulterer,’ a ‘drug addict,’ or a ‘cancer patient.’ Imagine entering a room and having people whisper ‘she’s an adulterer,’ or ‘he’s an alcoholic’ or ‘she’s a drug addict,’ or even ‘he’s a porn addict!’ While such addictions may in fact be something that individual struggles with, it is nice, is it polite, is is desirable, to define them by their weakness?

While it’s true many of us use such descriptives in our language, Christians, Jews, and others who believe in a loving God, a Heavenly Father, should, ideally, refrain from using the term ‘gay’ to refer to those who struggle with, or even those who openly embrace, their addiction, and claim it as an identity. As a Christian, I believe that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father, and it would be preferable, however unusual in our corrupted culture, to refer to each other as individuals, people, humans, or something similarly accurate, rather than a term which defines us by a weakness, sickness, or addiction. I just can’t imagine that the Lord Jesus Christ would want us to identify each other by our sins/addictions, or to advertise them to the world, and insist we be known as someone who struggles with a particular sin! What an insult to a Child of God!!
