The legal minimum for an Illinois public school year is 176 days of “pupil attendance.” If a school doesn’t meet that minimum, they lose 1/176th (.56818%) of their state funding for each day they fall short.

(Public) schools must be in session for 175 days, and must include “x” number of hours. Most public school districts schedule 181+ days
Wisconsin also requires 875 hours of instruction per academic year which usually takes place over the course of 175 days

All of thei information was found by the original poster through many hours of tedious internet research. I found his link and posted it…I also found the WI addy…now if you got a problem with the post, don’t read it…or here’s a thought, do your own research, or has the gooberment education system taken that out of you also…I post ’em, people read ’em…now either go do your own research as I have or not… I really don’t care but I am not cyber-arguing with any trolls…
