A Saudi engineering student on trial last month for plotting to carryout a terrorist attack targeting former President George W. Bush’s home, appeared in court last month for sentencing.

However, we have yet to see a national outcry among either our Patriots or the politicians in Washington demanding serious changes in the immigration visa application and approval system – the very system that allowed this student, Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari LEGAL entry into the United States for the sole purpose of carrying out a terrorist attack on our nation.

According to his journal, not only was Aldawsari aware that he would be able to skip right through our “border security” and obtain a visa, he knew that all he needed to avoid detection were multiple drivers’ licenses and a forged U.S. birth certificate.

Not so hard to obtain considering the 9-11 hijackers obtained more than 30 drivers’ licenses and identification documents in order to board the commercial planes used in the 9-11 attacks. Of course, the 9-11 hijackers also entered the U.S. LEGALLY after obtaining visas.

The Christmas Day bomber was able to board a plane en route to Detroit because he also had a visa.

Following 9-11, Congress passed the REAL ID Act in order to prevent terrorists from obtaining drivers’ licenses and other identification documents. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration continues to delay the full implementation of this law.

There is a gaping hole in our immigration security system that allows terrorists planning to commit acts of terror against the United States to enter our country in order to carry out their plots of death and destruction.

But where is the public outrage demanding Washington take action to keep our country safe from acts of terror?!

Patriots, we’re not waiting any longer. We can’t – our lives, the lives of our children and our families depend on your action TODAY!

Just two months ago, an Iranian book touting the glories of holy jihad was found in the AZ desert near the southern border. Not long after that, a radical clerical was caught being smuggled into California in the trunk of a car by Mexican human-traffickers.

These very real instances where our border has been penetrated by Islamic fundamentalists cannot be ignored any longer.

The safety and security of our country and our families depends on the stringent enforcement of U.S. immigration laws and a crackdown on those laws failing to protect our country.

As proven time and again by successful and failed terror attacks, the broken visa application system and the broken borders are our weakest defense against foreign terrorists.
