Joe Connor, whose father was murdered by the FALN terrorists working with Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn of the Weather Underground, has sent me this urgent update. Please help keep this terrorist in jail:

Thank you all for your support in convincing the parole commission to deny parole to FALN terrorist leader and founder Oscar Lopez in February of this year.

It seems more than ironic that today, the very same day we learned of justice for Osama Bin Laden, we also learned that the parole commission will consider Lopez’s request for reconsideration next week, Tuesday May 10.

I have attached a few links to remind you of the issues, a form letter for faxing to the commission stating your objection to reconsideration and a telephone scrip (below) to call the commission.

Dear Chairman Fulwood, and Commissioners,
We understand inmate Lopez has filed a petition for reconsideration of the denial of his parole.
Lopez was one of the terrorists offered clemency by Bill Clinton in 1999 but refused the offer because it did not include his FALN co-founder, Carlos Torres.Â Certainly, that refusal confirms his leadership in and commitment to the FALN.
Though he has had every opportunity (including before the FALN victims and their families) Lopez has never expressed remorse for his actions nor offered any cooperation to the public or law enforcement in solving the many unsolved crimes of the FALN.Â
Please reaffirm your original decision and ensure that Lopez remains in prison to the end of his term.
