| Dear Friend of Americas Survival, Inc.: If we are going to defeat radical Islam, we will need churches which understand the stakes and want to keep America strong. Our nation will collapse economically, threatening our military might, if we continue down the socialist road. Unfortunately, the Catholic Church is promoting socialism. Consider the case of Washington Post columnist and socialist Harold Meyerson:  He is not a Catholic but was a featured speaker at a conference on Monday sponsored by Catholic University. His topic was a papal document on capitalism and labor. He told the conference that his mentor was a Catholic-turned-atheist named Michael Harrington, who was also a socialist. I had some fun with him during this YouTube video. Take a look by clicking here. Can someone tell me why this non-Catholic socialist was speaking at a Catholic conference? Another speaker was former AFL-CIO boss John Sweeney:  Sweeney, who carries the title, President Emeritus, AFL-CIO, IS a Catholic. He is also a socialist. In this video of his remarks, he declares Jesus Christ to be on the side of organized labor. He is shown denouncing Catholics who opposes excessive government spending. He thinks they are bad Catholics. I will have much more to report on this bizarre event. It shows the power of the Catholic left, operating with the official backing of an official Catholic institution of higher learning the Catholic University of America. There are 63 million Catholics in America. I dont believe most of them are socialists. But they have to speak out. They must not fund the Catholic hierarchy or Catholic institutions such as Catholic University. Another speaker was from the Obama White House. Why is the Catholic Church collaborating with Obama?
