Picture Of The Dead Osama Bin Laden?

WARNING VERY VERY GRAPHIC. Is this the real deal? Not sure but it looks a lot less photo shopped than all the rest. Below is what MAY be a picture of Osama Bin Laden after the May 1st raid on his compound in PAH-KEY-STAHN. Not for those with tender tummies.

I hope these are real. Remember the Americans burned, dragged through the streets, beheaded and mutalated and hung from a bridge? This link is written by one of the mom’s of one of those Americans. I dunno. It looks kinda like Bin Laden, and he’s got a nice valley above his eye like the reports say. And those look like military-type dudes.

UPDATE (MacAoidh): I’m not sure that’s the real McCoy. The word was Bin Laden got it over his left eye, and this one has him getting it on the right.
But this one, I think, might be the real thing. It ain’t pretty at all. Comes from a reader who has some pretty decent military contacts…

Veal Parmesan!

UPDATE #2 (MacAoidh): I’m gonna go ahead and say the Obama Osama-as-veal-parmesan shot is probably the genuine article. Here’s CNN’s “1600 Report” blog entry on the Bin Laden photos, in pertinent part…

The senior us official also says the White House received 3 sets of photos yesterday. The photos included:
1. Photos of OBLs body at a hangar after he was brought back to Afghanistan. This is the most recognizable with a clear picture of his face. The picture is gruesome because he has a massive open head wound across both eyes. It’s very bloody and gory.

The official says the challenge is that the picture that includes the most recognizable image of OBLs face – from the hangar in Afghanistan – is so gruesome and mangled its not appropriate for say the front page of the newspaper. On the other hand, this is the one that is most identifiable as him.

And don’t give me any crap about mixing up Obama and Osama. I have seen every talking head on CNN and Fox News do that in the last two days. I get at least one freaking mulligan, for crying out loud.
But I’ve corrected it five times since Sunday if I’ve done it once. At least.

UPDATE #3 (Oscar): Well, maybe MacAoidh’s right. But Doug Ross has this one, and I don’t think this is it – if for no other reason than that it’s not gory enough…[two other men, the courior brothers, were also killed. This could be one of them.]
