Herman Cain has been a growing Tea Party favorite over the past few weeks, and Glenn had Cain n radio this morning and asked him some surprisingly tough questions. What does Glenn think of Herman Cain for President?

Glenn explained that he first saw Herman Cain long before he had indicated intentions to run for President. “I was in Chicago to give a speech and a guy walked on stage that I think somebody said to me, oh, this is the Godfather’s pizza guy. You should see him. Oh, the Godfather pizza guy, okay. I don’t think I ever said this watching anybody ever before. I said to one of the guys with me, I said could you please ask if I could meet him?”

“You might want to consider it here for a second. Herman, when we talk about you and I have told this story about, you know, first time I saw you and I think you’re great and I see you from time to time on the news and I think you’re great. I will tell you that there are three things that the listeners have brought up. One of them Pat brought up, that I have questions on and you’re not entering a hostile room, but I am going to ask you tough questions,” Glenn warned.

Glenn first asked Cain about his background as a Fed Chairman.
