Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri: “Message of Hope and Glad Tidings to Our People in Egypt, Episode 6”

On May 21, 2011, Al-Qaida’s As-Sahab Media Foundation released the 6th audiorecorded episode of Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri’s “Message to the Egyptian People.” In the message, Zawahiri said, “I wish for our Muslim Ummah in Libya to be very careful concerning the NATO plot against Libya…to turn Libya into a new Iraq.” He warned that NATO seeks to replace Gadhafi “with one of their own stooges, who will assist them in stealing Libya’s oil and resources.” He urged “The western desert tribes” in Egypt to “rise up and support their brothers in Libya with money, food, medicine, and weapons.” He further advised “our brothers in Libya to focus on collecting weapons and storing them to prepare for any eventualities.” (Read More)
