NEW YORK – Huma Abedin has remained dignified amid media frenzy surrounding her scandal-hit husband Anthony Weiner, a prominent US congressman from New York. Huma, 34, who was married just a year ago, to Weiner, a man with a playboy past, is dealing with her husband’s public shame over his immoral photo that was sent to an attractive female college student.
Born in Michigan and raised in Saudi Arabia, Huma is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s trusted right-hand woman, serving as her aide since 1996.
Former President Clinton even referred to Abedin as his “second daughter.” Her father, a scholar, died when she was 17. Her mother is an educationist serving in Saudi Arabia.
Abedin, was named TIME magazine’s ‘40 Under 40’ rising stars of American politics last fall and was featured in a 2007 issue of Vogue magazine.
Amid building scandal, Weiner, who is Jewish, said Thursday his beautiful wife doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about. “She’s seen an awful lot,” Weiner said in a television interview.
“But I won’t mind telling you that even for someone that went through the Clinton years, this has been a befuddling experience.”
Abedin, known as ‘body woman’ for Mrs Clinton, returned to work Thursday as usual.
The New York Post reported Friday that Mrs Abedin has shown incredible grace under fire, and not displayed any signs of embarrassment or anger over her husband’s public roasting. “She has been doing her job like nothing has happened. It has nothing to do with her job. This is her personal life,” a source told the Post.

@Anon Ckim9 – The ORIGINAL articale, if you had read it, simplely says SHE is “Born in Michigan and raised in Saudi Arabia”. If you read the heading, you would see the QUESTION I ask is WHAT IS A ‘BODY WOMAN’…. Do you have an answer???
