(CNSNews.com) -The conservative group American Crossroads is mixing an old Saturday Night Live skit with the current DNC Chair, for a result aimed at getting laughs.

The group released a video yesterday called “Debbie Downer” using clips of DNC Chair and Florida Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz starring in a parody of the skit that once aired on SNL.

The video lampoons recent statements by Wasserman Schultz. Including one made during a Sunday interview where she said that Republicans “want to literally drag us all the way back to Jim Crow laws.” http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/debbie-downer-plays-wasserman-schultz-st
