CNN Gives Maher Platform to Accuse GOP Candidates of ‘Horrible Society-Killing Ideas,’ Call Cheney ‘More Psychotic’ Than Weiner
The night after CNN’s debate in New Hampshire with seven Republican presidential candidates, Anderson Cooper brought aboard left-wing “comedian” Bill Maher to ridicule them. Asked if he “had to vote” for one of them, he named Ron Paul since “he’s a cut from a different cloth than the rest of those people who are of course selling their souls to the corporate interests who back them and who have just horrible, society-killing ideas about America.” Later discussing Anthony Weiner, Maher used it as an opportunity to deride one of the left’s favorite targets they never tire of vilifying: “Dick Cheney used to go out and shoot birds by the hundreds that were like in a cage. To me, that’s a lot more psychotic than anything Anthony Weiner ever did.”

CNN Anchor Questions If Gov’t Should Really Be Limited Within Constitutional Powers
CNN’s Ali Velshi apparently believes the idea of a federal government limited within Constitutional powers is a little far-fetched. “Do you really believe that the federal government should offer no incentives, should undertake no planning with anything that doesn’t have to do with powers granted to them in the Constitution?” he challenged Tea Party darling Rep. Michele Bachmann on Tuesday’s American Morning.
Editor Confesses: Not a ‘Single Reporter’ Thinks Palin ‘Should Be President’
On Tuesday’s Morning Joe, Politico editor Jim VandeHei flatly stated that not a “single reporter at any media organization” thinks Sarah Palin “can be President or should be President.” The blunt observation from a top media insider of his colleagues’ obvious prejudice against Palin comes after a weekend of frenzied efforts to plumb through the ex-Governor’s e-mails, only to find “not a lot of bombshells.”
And now, a little more from Scarborough’s piece, headlined: “ The Palin Obsession”
