The foreign governments of Mexico and several Central and South American countries have joined rank with leftist U.S.-based organizations to undermine Georgia’s latest victory against illegal immigration.
The foreign countries filed court papers yesterday in support of efforts to halt Georgia’s tough new illegal immigration law. The ten other countries joining Mexico in seeking a preliminary injunction include: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Peru.
A federal class-action lawsuit was also filed earlier this month by the American Civil Liberties Union, the Southern Poverty Law Center and several other leftist organizations.
Sadly, we’re still waiting to hear the outcry from Washington over foreign countries interfering with our domestic laws and states’ rights to enforce U.S. federal law.
Well, we’re here to defend America – not the national budgets of foreign governments dependent on repatriations to stay afloat.
We will defend Georgia even if Washington won’t.
Georgia’s new law, HB 87, empowers police to investigate the immigration status of certain suspects, punishes people who transport or harbor illegal immigrants in the state or who use fake identification to get a job here. It also requires business to use the federal E-Verify program to ensure their newly hired workers are eligible to work in the U.S.
It is scheduled to take effect July 1.
However, a mass exodus of illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities in neighboring states or back to their home countries has already started.
Dual citizenship requests are up 30% for “American” children born to illegal immigrant parents, and bus stations have been jammed with people trying to flee the coming stringent immigration laws.
We expect to see the same results in Alabama where the new law will take effect September 1 this year.
We cannot allow foreign governments to intervene in OUR states’ affairs and OUR national interest. And we definitely can’t afford it!
If continuing to subsidize welfare programs, imprisonment and in-state tuition for illegal immigrants doesn’t float your boat, keeping the billions of American dollars sent out of our country, and out of our economy, every year by illegal immigrants working in the U.S. certainly will!
In the next two weeks, you can bet on those countries whose economies depend on repatriations sent home by their citizens ILLEGALLY present in ours will be pouring money into the fight against Georgia’s tough immigration law.
With the upcoming elections, and being dependent on the Hispanic vote to win, Obama is too busy schmoozing in Puerto Rico to speak up for America.
But together, we can –
With your help and support, Minuteman PAC can continue fighting for Patriot states like Georgia that are trying to combat illegal immigration despite the federal government’s lack of willingness to get serious about any “reform” that doesn’t include Amnesty.
Just facing Washington and leftist organizations to defend its immigration laws in court, Arizona has depended on nearly $2 million in donated funds in the past year to keep legal costs from burdening taxpayers.
We have to help Georgia build its resources to defend the state’s victory against illegal immigration and we MUST start building the legal defense fund today.
More than 43,000 individuals in all 50 states have contributed to Gov. Brewer’s crackdown on illegal immigration with donations totaling more than $3.7 million to combat the Obama Administrations attack on anti-illegal immigration efforts.
And we’re hoping to rally the same level of generosity to come to the defense of Georgia.
With your help and support, Minuteman PAC can help Georgia, and every other state combating illegal immigration, continue the fight against illegal immigration and the tolerance policy pushed by the Obama Administration and every radical, leftwing loon in Washington.
So please, help us defend America from Mexico and every other foreign government determined to halt Georgia’s illegal immigration law in its tracks.
