Teen Mobs in Philly, Assult 2X’s Sat Night: Leg Broken.
Philadelphia, PA is out of control. The local news did not cover this attack of another “flash mob” this weekend. This was in the Spring Garden section of the city, 1/2 mile north of City Hall, Center City. I assume the media does not want to alarm the city dwellers, possible deter tourism.
At 15th and Spring Garden near Green Street, a 9:30PM, Emily Guendelsberger 27, who is an online editor of local arts and entertainment department of Philadelphia’s ONION, satirical website was jumped by 20 male teens who punched and kicked her numerous times. Surveillance cameras were check by police had no luck. Several of the friends she was walking with were treated for facial injuries.
She suffered a broken leg and was admitted in the hospital.
A motorist saw the exchange and pulled over to try to protect the victim.
The police earlier in the evening reported another attack, 1/2 miles away in the Fairmount section. A 20-year-old male was assaulted. He was treated and released for a bruised right eye.
“Terrorism is the best political weapon
for nothing drives people harder
than a fear of sudden death.”
