It should be no surprise that the Democrats have set the Special Election for the 116th Assembly District to help one of their own. By calling the race for Primary Day, September 13th, they think they’re going to sneak up on us and not give us enough time raise money and get our message out.
But we have a bigger surprise for them! We have a great candidate in Greg Johnson.
As a small business owner, Greg understands how big government spending and high taxes hurt business growth and harm taxpayers. As a committed public servant hes been elected to the Marcy Town Board which hasnt increased taxes in over 15 years, and as a retired Airline Captain with U.S. Airways, he understands the importance of responsibility, making good decisions and handling high-pressure situations.
On the contrary his opponent is a personal injury lawyer in his familys shady mob connected law firm. On the Utica School Board, hes raised taxes and increased spending ever year. He is just not ready or tested to take on the challenges of Albany.
He will use his familys vast resources to distort Gregs record and smear his name. This is the only course of action he has as his experience and record as a injury lawyer and tax and spend school board member do not match up to Greg’s.
