Obama, Really? ‘Intercontinental Railroad’ was built by Abe Lincoln.

“Abe Lincoln built the “intercontinental railroad” during the Civil War.” claims Obama.  Opps  POTUS, The railroad was authorized during the Civil War and construction was underway. But, the USA did not have a transcontinental railroad until 1869.

Just imagine a female Republican Presidential contender made that statement.  Would the media overlook the misinformation or gaffe?
