It is racist, ageist, anti-poor, or anti-student to claim that requiring secure photo ID is somehow discriminatory against poor, minorities, the elderly, or students!

What, are those groups of individuals incapable of producing a photo ID? I would NEVER insult them by claiming they’re incapable of proving their identity. It’s shameful that in a blatant effort to continue to allow the dead, felons, and others engaging in election/voter fraud, to continue to allow elections to be stolen, that they would stoop so low as to insult every single minority, poor American, Senior Citizen, and student.

I’m outraged!

Okay, okay, this post is a bit tongue-in-cheek.

That said, my points are entirely valid. It IS offensive, to any thinking individual, to pretend that minorities are incapable of proving their identities. It is patently FALSE that it is discriminatory against those groups to require photo ID; in fact, such laws secure elections, making it so that it is far less likely that Americans will have their well-informed votes stolen by dishonest election-stealing thugs who don’t deserve to roam free!

The only thing I don’t know is whether Fudge is too…intellectually challenged…to realize that she’s being used to enable election fraud, or if she’s a willing participant in the effort to protect pro-Democrat voter fraud!

Democrat: Photo-ID Rule Seeks to Keep Poor, Minorities, Elderly and…
By Nicholas Ballasy | Friday, July 15, 2011

(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) said that every state governed by a Republican is attempting to prevent the poor, minorities, seniors and students from voting by requiring individuals to present photo identification at the polls.

DEMOCRATS CLAIM GOP CONSPIRACY: SHOWING PHOTO ID AT POLLS KEEPS POO…

Posted on July 15, 2011 at 11:57pm by Tiffany Gabbay

logoTheBlazeFlame.gifWould being required to show a photo ID at the voting booth prior to casting your ballot deter you from voting? According to some Democrats, yes, it can, and will. Especially if you are a minority, a senior, a student, or are poor.

Marcia%20fudge.jpg?1310749306But who are the ones Democrats claim are seeking to discourage minorities from voting? Republicans, of course.

Rev. Jessie Jackson and Congresswoman Marcia Fudge along with their supporters claim a “Rovian” conspiracy is underway by the GOP to bar minorities, students, the elderly, and the poor from accessing the ballot box.

During a press conference attended by House Democrats including Sheila Jackson Lee, Fudge said of Republicans:

“I guess they don’t think that we understand that they’re trying to keep poor people from voting, minorities from voting, the elderly from voting, students from voting, we are not stupid,” she told reporters at a Capitol Hill press conference on Wednesday alongside liberal activist Rev. Jesse Jackson.

“We understand that this is by design — when you go to every state that a Republican governor, where there’s a Republican governor, they are doing this across this country and we’re just not going to take it,” said Fudge.

Currently, there are 16 states that now have laws “requiring” or “requesting” voters to present photo ID prior to casting a ballot, but even that is apparently too many for Democrats, who seem to think no real identification should be required at all.

JessieJackson.jpgJackson went on to explain to CNSNews what types of identifying documents he deems appropriate to show at the polls:

“You can use a utilities ID in some instances, a driver’s license or a Social Security number, a whole range of personal identifications – a phone bill,” Jackson told CNSNews.com.

Isn‘t a driver’s license a photo ID? And, what, exactly is a “utilities ID?” Did Jackson trip himself up a bit, perhaps?

Jackson also believes moving Election Day from Sunday to Tuesday is another “scheme” to quash minorities’ votes.

“Even, for example, moving voting from Tuesday – Sunday back to Tuesday – well, Tuesday’s a day when most people work. That’s always a scheme to suppress the vote and you have higher turnout on the weekends,” he said.

One of Jackson’s supporters even went so far as to suggest showing your photo ID to election judges could invite“ stalkers” into your life, when he told CNSNews that his daughter is “terrified” of showing her ID as it contains her school dorm’s address. More at the Blaze.

“Terrified?“ Of showing an ID at a voting booth because of the ”stalking-risks?” Surely, he jests. Does his daughter mind presenting her ID before purchasing alcohol at the supermarket, or upon entering a nightclub, or bar? What about when she goes to the movies and tries to get the student-rate ticket? Surely she must show her student ID then…
