Demetrice Garcia Arrested

Marion, N.Y.- Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman from Williamson for allegedly assaulting another woman with a metal baseball bat.

Police charged Demetrice Garcia, 33, with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Garcia is accused of hitting another woman with a bat on Huntley Road in the town of Marion July 30 during a domestic dispute with her ex-husband.

Police say Garcia hit the victim several times with the bat.

She is expected back in court Wednesday evening.
