Job Boom Could be Closer than We Think
We all know businesses and banks want to invest and grow jobs. But they are scared of politicians who nickel- and-dime them and change rules at a moment’s notice. We need to give the job market long-term certainty: predictable and affordable taxes, steady and limited red tape, and a more affordable cost of living for the talent they employ.
Middle Class Needs a Boost
Passing a property tax cap was a good start, but most of us already are paying too much to big government. We need a middle class property tax and income tax reduction so we can keep more of our hard-earned money. You Don’t Fire Up an Economy By Shutting Down our Prison. We need jobs. Shuttering a prison, firing workers and uprooting and sending the families of other workers across the state is insane — especially in the middle of a great recession! Worse, deals were apparently cut in backrooms. Who got what? What was traded for our jobs?
Greg Johnson wants to know. The only people who should be fired are the wheeling, dealing Albany politicians who assaulted our economy and jobs.
