Remember

In three days, we will join together as a nation to commemorate the tenth anniversary of 9/11. We will remember those we have lost and mourn with the families who have been devastated by 9/11, but we will also celebrate the bravery and sacrifice of the heroes of 9/11 the first responders and ordinary citizens who acted courageously and saved countless lives.

We will never forget what happened that day. Its important that America is reminded about the great sacrifice and heroism, as well as the ongoing threat posed by the radical terrorists who wish to destroy all that we believe in.
At the ACLJ, we remain resolutely committed to defending faith and liberty. I encourage you to read this article Jordan recently wrote for Beliefnet detailing how our heritage has guided our fight to protect religious liberty and recognition of our religious heritage. It is why we sent Mayor Bloomberg a letter representing tens of thousands of Americans urging him to include prayer at the 9/11 memorial service, and it is why we have fought to defend our religious heritage and religious liberty.
As we honor the heroes of 9/11 this Sunday, let us renew our pledge to never forget how that day forever changed us and renew our commitment to defending freedom.
Thank you,

Jay Sekulow
