The Learning Channel’s 8-episode All American Muslims . . . Cast supporter of hezbollah and hamas

I’ve had lots of people send this info to me; thank you all. I don’t know if it would do any good to complain now (but of course you can), before the show starts (8 weeks of it!) and we don’t know what’s in it. But we need to be ready with a critic’s eye to how one-sided it is . . . which, frankly, I can’t imagine it isn’t.

islamiccrescent When we have facts, we can bombard the station with complaints of bias that makes this show a fairy tale. I wonder how many women we’ll see going out w/o husbands, how many women w/o hijabs? How many discussions of CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, Hamas, al-Qaeda, 9/11 (beyond themselves being victims)? Will it discuss the incentives NOT to vote? How many crotchety old Muslim men exclaiming how bad the women are for not being more pious? An explanation for why women have to be separated from the men in the mosques; explanations for what Ramadan IS (a month-long celebration of Muhammad’s ascendency to Messenger of Allah, which eventually led to the death of 270,000,000 people and counting)? What are their views on Israel? Who paid for their mosques . . .? Yes, I expect a fairy tale, not substance.

Will it, I wonder, show the whole story of the Christians jailed for discussing Christianity at the Dearborn Arab Fair? Including jailing Terry Jones? I doubt it.

I received two emails (in regards to this show) which made the comment about how small the Muslim population in America is, yet its force on the US is significant. We can notice a pattern throughout history of very small groups managing to control very large groups of people, be those people from a religion, a royal family, or a political ideology. The reasons and tactics and end goals may be different, but it’s still a small group, generally, leading the change of culture. Lackeys/collaborators in the American media are certainly following the role of other historical lackeys , too, and hastening that cultural change.
