Yes, you read that right!
A Nobel Peace Prize has been given to an activist who is a member of Yemen’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Even worse, one of the top leaders of that Muslim Brotherhood branch is wanted by the U.S. for his ties to Al-Qaeda!
When asked about the wisdom of this decision, the Nobel Peace Prize Committee chairman said that he disagrees with the West’s view that the Muslim Brotherhood is a threat. “There are many signals that, that kind of movement can be an important part of the solution,” he said.
Our national security analyst, Ryan Mauro, wrote about this outrageous story in his debut column for Hudson-NY.org, an affiliate of the Hudson Institute.
