There is a stunning lack of tolerance for views that oppose the radical Marxist orthodoxy when it comes to homosexual behavior. Anybody who dares to admit, or promote the fact that homosexual addictions are behavioral, just like all addictions are, and aren’t genetic.

While many individuals struggle with addictions of all kinds, from alcohol to heroin, cocaine, crack, prescription painkillers, and other narcotics, to pornography, sex, and homosexual sodomy, to pornography, to food, to adrenaline-inducing activities, if endorphines or adrenaline are released in the human body when engaging in an activity, there’s a chance that somebody, somewhere, chooses to not control their urges, and engage in that activity or behavior in moderation, and becomes addicted to said behavior.

The Marxist left insists that it’s an identity, rather than a behavior, despite the fact that it is an act, or set of acts, repeated on a regular basis.

In fact, the 1963 Goals of the Communist Party included the following:

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man…”

If the Communists wanted us to promote homosexuality, intelligent Americans must recognize the red flag, and not reflexively do their will.

And let’s face it: homosexual acts are considered by God to be grievous sins:

Leviticus 18:22:
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

Isaiah 3:9:
9 ¶The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

Jude 1:7:
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

1 Romans 22:27:

1 Romans 1 22-27:
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

There’s a reason God felt the need to officially disapprove of homosexual sin over a half dozen times (a half dozen of which are listed above). It’s HARMFUL to the perpetrator of such grievous sin! Both for their health, and the health of their souls, those who are addicted to homosexual acts would be far better off if they got the counseling help they need to kick their risky addictions.

Addictions, from illegal drug abuse to pornography to homosexual anal sodomy, or other counterfeits of true loving intimacy, are diseases that need help, not identities to which Christian Americans must bow.

And we certainly mustn’t pretend that grievous sin is actually a good thing!

Isaiah 5:20
20 ¶Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Progressives’ actions prove that they somehow believe that it’s okay to discriminate against Americans who happen to believe the Bible to be the word of God. I agree with Glenn Beck:

So long as your God isn’t telling you to strap on some explosives and go detonate yourself in a crowded area, you have the freedom to worship how, where, or what you may. That FREEDOM OF RELIGION is enshrined in the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America:

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Now it’s true that not everybody is a Christian, and attempts to live according to the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST, but the Holy Bible IS a major part of the NATURAL LAW FOUNDATION upon which the Constitution was built. America was founded as a Christian nation, and in a Christian nation, it isn’t unreasonable to question radical homosexual orthodoxy, and to note that homosexual behaviors are a result of choice, just like heterosexual acts. After all, if sexual acts of any sort ‘cannot be helped,’ then there is no such thing as rape, and we all know that’s not accurate! People must choose to engage in sexual behavior, heterosexual or otherwise, and it is NOT their identity; it is a choice.

And Christian faiths that accept the Bible to be the word of God are instructed to love the sinner, but hate the sin. It’s interesting that homosexual sodomy activists hate the sinner, but love the sin.

Which brings me to my next point: there is plenty of evidence to back up the idea that homosexual addictions are behavioral, and not genetic. The best resource with which patriots should educate themselves, should they wish to be able to intelligently discuss the issue, in defense of the Family and the Sanctity of Marriage, that I have seen, is Ryan Sorba’s The Born-Gay Hoax (AKA The ‘Gay Gene’ Hoax). We even discussed this in a discussion thread from June of 2010.

Ex-Gays? Study Claims it May Be Possible to Change One’s Sexual Orientation

When it comes to homosexuality, it seems everyone has an opinion. From policy discussions about whether gay marriage should be legalized to debates over religious freedom and the right to speak out against gay marriage and adoption, the issue remains contentious. Now, a study published in a peer-reviewed journal is alleging that some gays and lesbians may be able change their sexual orientation.

The seven-year study followed 61 subjects for a period of six or seven years, finding that 23 percent of them were, as they reported, successful in converting to heterosexual orientation. An additional 30 percent reported what the Christian Examiner calls “stable behavioral chastity with significate dis-identification with gay orientation.” Study co-author Stanton L. Jones (Jones conducted it along with Mark A. Yarhouse), a psychologist at Wheaton College, explains:

“The results that we report in our study suggest that change is definitely not impossible, and it’s probably not uncommon, either. That doesn’t mean that change is easy. We think that these results need to be taken into account as a way of respecting the religious freedom of individuals.”

These results, whether valid or not, will likely create angst and debate between those individuals who believe conversion is possible and those who adhere to the notion that people are born gay and cannot change.

The study, which is thought to be the first of its kind, followed people who were voluntarily taking part in various Christian ministries associated with Exodus International. Here is Exodus’ mission:

Through our unique programs and resources, Exodus Student Ministries endeavors to minister to young people affected by homosexuality and their families. We also strive to equip those in the Body of Christ who minister to students with the tools they need to make a difference in the lives of young people struggling in these areas.

Our mission is: Mobilizing the body of Christ to minister grace and truth to a world impacted by homosexuality.

While partial results were released back in 2007 and 2009, the study is now making its way into the peer-reviewed Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy. As a result, Jones and Yarhouse are hopeful that it will be given more ample attention after it was dismissed by critics when results first emerged a few years ago.

“[Its placement in the journal] signifies that the methodology meets the basic requirements for being taken seriously as a piece of scientific literature,” Jones explains.

“Critics still dismiss the study. They say, ‘Well, it’s only one study,‘ or they say it’s not a large enough sample. But I think the study stands as a significant challenge to the reigning views on this matter, especially given that the major mental health organizations say in alternate voices that change of sexual orientation is impossible or that change in sexual orientation is highly unlikely.”

Jones and others who embrace this ideology though — that change is possible — definitely have an uphill battle ahead of them. The American Psychological Association, among other experts on these matters, seems to believe that the notion that someone’s sexuality can be changed is not a healthy one. As you may recall, GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann and her husband, Marcus, were under fire earlier this year for allegedly endorsing and utilizing “reparative” treatments.

Critics of the study (Jones and Yarhouse respond to them here) say that it falls flat because it doesn’t record the physical responses of subjects when they are exposed to sexual stimulus. Exodus, though, wouldn’t support this, seeing as subjects would need to be exposed to pornography to monitor how the brain and body respond to it. ” … People who are undergoing change don’t want to submit themselves to exposure to gay porn as a measurement method as to whether they have changed,” Jones explained.

The small sample size is definitely a problem when it comes to looking at an overall picture. But even the study’s authors acknowledge this, as they contend that it would not be appropriate to assume, based on their research, that 23 percent of people can change their sexual orientation (based on the 23 people in their study who have changed). Still, the authors believe that the study corroborates the idea that change is possible.
