New York Democrat Mark Poloncarz would love for you to believe the ballot tampering scandal at the Erie County Board if Elections is over and that it doesn’t touch his campaign for Erie County Executive. He’s wrong.

Buffalo newspaper and television reporters won’t tell you, but longtime Democrat operative Mark Galvin is now the focus of a criminal investigation. He’s lawyered up – he’s not talking. Both he and Poloncarz are close associates of Erie County Democrat Party Chairman Len Lenihan – and sources say Galvin is actually Lenihan’s godson!

When an expert political operative pulls a stunt like this, it is never a one-man job. Case in point: Rensselaer County, New York. In 2010, local Democrats there faked absentee ballots, too, and a criminal investigation has only now borne fruit. Initially, the local media scoffed at the charges of vote fraud; only a private investigation discovered the crimes. Today, a grand jury is empaneled, two Democrats have been charged, another pled guilty, and seven other Dems are embroiled in the scandal.

Just like last week in Erie County, only a handful of fraudulent Rensselaer County ballots were initially discovered. Today, State Police and a special prosecutor are reviewing dozens of ballots in evidence and Democrats will go to jail. The only question is: How high in the Democrat Party does this go?
