MCDONALD’S MANAGER SENTENCED IN FAKE DOCUMENT SCHEME

Eva Ramos, 36, a former McDonald’s restaurant manager was sentenced to 32 months in federal prison for her role in an ID theft scheme. Ramos plead guilty to selling the identities of U.S. citizens to illegal aliens employed in McDonald’s restaurants through the Savannah area. Her arrest is the result of a nine-month investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that resulted in 14 arrests in all with five suspects facing federal identity theft charges while the others were charged with immigration violations.

DHS SEC. NAPOLITANO RECEIVES WARNING FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY

On Friday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith sent Dept. of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano a letter warning her to “immediately comply” with the subpoena his committee issued over two weeks ago for information on nearly 300,000 illegal immigrants that the Obama administration has failed to deport.

Rep. Smith of Texas was forced to issue the subpoena after Napolitano failed to meet the original Oct. 31 deadline for the information.
