Nurses threaten Christmas strikes at 4 NYC hospitals

NYSNA members voted in a new board that took the reins last month on a platform that promised the board would coordinate negotiations at the hospitals. Nearly 10,000 nurses could vote for holiday pickets at Montefiore, Mount Sinai, NY-Presbyterian and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt. Hospitals say they can’t afford nurse union’s demands.
