Which Democrat Will Next Head the House Financial Services Committee?


With the upcoming retirement of Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), House Democrats will be vying for the role as top dog on the House Financial Services Committee — a position that comes with a wealth of fund-raising opportunities. At least five of the next-highest ranking House Democrats on the committee would seem to be top candidates for the position, not least of all because they exhibit intimate ties with the industries they help regulate.
