Rochester, N.Y. – The bus station on Cumberland Street and surrounding roads reopened hours after a suspicious trunk was found near the bus station.
Police found several sandbags and an electronic receiver-like device in a travel trunk.
Homeland Security, the Rochester Police Department and the bomb squad were called to the scene after a security guard spotted the trunk and reported it around 6 a.m.
Employees were kept inside the bus station and nearby post office.
