KANSAS LIKE CALIFORNIA IN DEALING WITH ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS
Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach recently said Kansas is “nowhere to be seen” in dealing with illegal immigration having not taken any steps in recent years to discourage illegal immigration. Kobach also said Kansas should emulate the actions taken by patriot-states like Arizona, Alabama and Georgia to tackle illegal immigration. Emergency health care, food assistance, children’s health insurance, child care, and systemic alien verification are just a few of the entitlement programs benefiting illegal immigrants in the state. The total estimated burden of illegal immigrants in the state is roughly $800 million.

50 FED AGENTS TO REPLACE SHERIFF JOE’S OFFICERS
The Homeland Security Department will use 50 immigration agents to screen Maricopa County, Arizona jail inmates after revoking Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s authority to access its systems. The agents will “screen, identify, apprehend and remove criminal aliens” found in Maricopa County jails following the Justice Department investigation that concluded Arpaio’s office engaged in civil rights and constitutional violations and discriminated against Latinos.
