US Warned Could Soon Face Russian Wrath From Space
An “urgent” report from Russian Federal Space Agency (ROSCOSMOS) General Director Vladimir Popovkin to Prime Minister Putin circulating in the Kremlin today warns that the failed Phobos-Grunt Mars space probe [photo 2nd left] appears likely to have been turned into a non-nuclear electromagnetic bomb under the control of “unknown forces” and could very well detonate over North America within the coming weeks causing catastrophic damage.
According to this report, ROSCOSMOS ground control lost contact with Phobos-Grunt shortly after its 9 November launch when this Mars probe failed to fire its rockets thus leaving it stranded in low-Earth orbit and subsequent attempts by the European Space Agency (ESA) to contact it failed too.
The known danger posed to our Earth posed from Phobos-Grunt’s reentry lie in its roughly 7.5 metric tonnes of highly toxic hydrazine and nitrogen tetroxide chemical fuels intended to fire this probe towards Mars, but which now constitute the greatest threat to our planet since the space era began from an object falling out of orbit.
