You are probably aware of what’s below, but we find it so important that we feel it necessary to bring to your attention again. The upcoming election is critical to the future of our great country; therefore, we ask you to forward this email to everyone you feel needs to be reminded of exactly what is at stake.

Various well-funded left-wing groups have been working overtime to assist the Obama administration in transforming America and undermining our constitutional and private enterprise system. Chief among them is the AARP, formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons. As you read this, the tax-exempt status of AARP is under scrutiny by the House Ways and Means Committee. What does this mean to us? Are you aware that page 95 of the health care legislation called the Affordable Care Act, lines 8-18, state that the government can hire non-profit community groups to enroll people in the government health plan? How could AARP possibly have your best interest at heart with this multi-million dollar financial windfall in front of them? In the words of one lawmaker, there is “a pattern of business partnerships and activities that permit the AARP to engage in for-profit businesses under its tax-exempt status.”

With this knowledge, is there any question as to why AARP endorsed this plan?

In case you have not heard, here are some facts about the new health care law:

1) The Congressional Budget Office determined that over 20 million individuals will lose the coverage they are now enjoying under the new law’s implementation.

2) Page 85, line 7 provides for specifics on benefit levels for Medicare recipients, basically rationing the care of every senior citizen of the United States.

3) Page 239, lines 14-24 mandate that available physician services will be reduced for Medicaid recipients. Many people seeking financial assistance, including many seniors, will be affected.

4) Page 425, lines 4-12 mandate “Advance Care Planning Consultation,” which is another insidious vehicle to save money by encouraging seniors who are in poor health to be more accepting of death rather than fighting to stay alive, healthy and with their loved ones. Furthermore, on page 427, line 15 mandates a program for orders on the end of life, actually giving the government a say in how your life ends!

5) Finally, and we could write volumes in regard to this topic, page 429, lines 1-9 dictate the frequency with which an Advance Care Planning Consultant will have to meet with patients as their health deteriorates. Lines 10-12 give this Advance Care Planning Consultant the power to order end of life plans for a patient and lines 13-25 will only allow certain doctors, not necessarily your own physician, to write an end of life order. The next page, lines 11-15 allow the government to decide what level of treatment you will have at the end of life.
