Today marks the 1,000th day without a budget from Senate Democrats. Observers should not hold their breath awaiting President Obama noting this milestone when he delivers the State of the Union address this evening.

The poster child of the Democrats’ lack of leadership also passes a noteworthy day this week: Thursday is the 3rd Anniversary of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s swearing-in.

How’s she doin’?

Well, New York State remains ranked the worst state in America for business growth and from our Democrat junior senator we get…

No Budget. No Solutions. No Ideas (save for legislation pushed by disgraced former colleague, Senator Chris Dodd, to destroy internet freedom-now disowned).

Indeed, in over her head and with no solutions, Senator Gillibrand is in full campaign mode. With no record of accomplishment to run on this November, she and her party of Big-Spending anti-taxpayer liberals will have little choice but their tried and true “demonize and divide.”

We need to be prepared – Mrs. Gillibrand and the rest of her Obama-Reid chums are bereft of ideas but their campaign war chests are overflowing with Liberal special interest contributions and government union dues. They realize Republican candidates who demand bold steps towards fiscal sanity and who will enact pro-NY taxpayer solutions will threaten their continued control in the Senate. As Republicans, let’s get ready.

Senator Gillibrand, enough with the full time campaign cash grabs.

Our families need a senator looking out for them, concerned with their jobs rather than consumed with keeping hers by any means necessary.
