Obama Suspends Deportations of Illegal Immigrants…Even Convicted Criminals

Obama’s abuse of Temporary Protected Status for foreign-born individualsprotects individuals, illegal and legal immigrants alike, from deportation and releases them back into our neighborhoods regardless of criminal status. Obama’s biased political agenda has resulted in at least three deaths this year alone.

In 2006, burglar Kesler Dufrene,23, became a twice-convicted felon and a Bradenton, Fl. judge sent him to prison for five years. And because of those convictions, an immigration judge ordered the criminal deported to his native Haiti. But it never happened.

Instead, worried relatives called the police on Jan. 2., 2011 to check on the family, and that afternoon, officers and paramedics discovered a gruesome scene. All three were shot to death for no apparent reason.

The victims: Ashley, 15, a North Miami High School student who aspired to become a lawyer, Harlen Peralta, 25, a hairstylist who rented an attached efficiency, and Harlen’s boyfriend, Israel Rincon, 35 who coached youth baseball in his free time.

The murder weapon – a rifle – was later discovered by family members wrapped in a towel and hidden under a mattress. It then tested positive for the DNA of two of the victims and of Dufrene.

Because of Obama’s moratorium on removals to Haiti was in effect when Dufrene came into ICE custody, his removal to Haiti was not likely in the reasonably foreseeable future So instead of ridding our country of this criminal, Dufrene (who has a long criminal history in Manatee County with the first of his nine arrests taking place at age 14 for battery on a teacher) remained free to roam our streets and kill innocent Americans.

Just two years before the triple-homicide earlier this month, in January 2010, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) wrote to Obama, saying: “There is no way to safely return Haitian citizens to their country.” Obama jumped at the excuse, extending American hospitality even to criminals two years after the earthquake struck.

Dufrene was one of more than 30,000 Haitians in the country illegally who Obama has granted Temporary Protected Status due to the devastating earthquake that struck the country two years ago. Apparently, this ‘upstanding’ individual who lived as a homeless vagrant in Manatee County, Florida, when he wasn’t in prison, just could not be deported back to a country with devastated infrastructure.

And the atrocities committed by criminals protected by Obama’s TPS waiver on deportations are only going to keep coming as long as individuals are protected from deportation REGARDLESS OF THE CRIMES THEY COMMIT!

And let’s not forget, Honduran and Nicaraguan nationals received protected status in 1999, after Hurricane Mitch hit their countries. Then, in 2001, Salvadoran illegal immigrants were also granted the same administrative protection from deportation, following an earthquake. AND THESE PROTECTIONS ARE STILL IN PLACE.

In fact, just two weeks ago, the Obama administration quietly extended the Temporary Protected Status of 217,000 illegal immigrants from El Salvador because, according to the Department of Homeland Security, due to the earthquakes in 2001, “El Salvador remains unable, temporarily, to handle adequately the return of its nationals.”

Obama does not discriminate when it comes to the not-so Temporary Protected Status.Somali and Sudanese nationals also enjoy the special TPS status despite the hard truth that many Somalis allowed to immigrate to this country have become radicalized Muslim terrorists…

That’s why together we must act.

We must not let America forget the havoc Obama’s extended, unwarranted Temporary Status Protection of criminals is wreaking on our neighborhoods and the ever-increasing number of victims. Obama can hype up the DREAM Act and try to play with the emotions of U.S. Citizens. Obama can pretend that all he wants is to allow the poor honor roll students brought illegally into our country by their parents to attend college, but we know better than to think his backdoor amnesty agenda is anything but a plan to turn America into his radical, leftwing paradise full of clueless voters willing to drink the kool-aid.

Obama MUST end the Temporary Protected Status protecting criminal illegal and legal immigrants alike! AND HE MUST END IT NOW.

We need YOU to contact your elected officials in Washington and tell them where your vote lies. It’s an election year, and we the voters have the power. Let’s use it right now, today, to take back Washington, demand that our border be secured, and ensure that deportations are reinstated! We MUST make OUR voices heard!
