This is going to be a bit of a rant, so I’m going to post a disclaimer or two. First although my majors in college were Electrical Engineering and US History with a specialty in the military, I didn’t finish, so I guess I no historian. Of course, by that standard, neither was Edward Gibbon. Second this post was brought on by a blogfriend of mine over at Practically Historical, he’s good, I always enjoy his posts, although he occasionally infuriates me! I probably do him, too.
