Muslim behead two Coptic Christians in New Jersey

This story is from February, but it’s news to me. It didn’t make national media at the time, but people are pointing it out now, after yesterday’s savage Islamic beheading attack in London.

Christian Post, 2/20/13: In a crime that New Jersey authorities have described as heinous, a local man is believed to have shot to death two Coptic Christians before severing their heads and hands and burying their bodies in the backyard of a relative’s abandoned home.

“These were grisly murders in which the defendant allegedly shot both victims in the chest at close range,” said Attorney General Chiesa in a press release. “We allege that the defendant was ruthless and calculating in the manner in which he carried out the killings and attempted to prevent identification of the victims by cutting off their heads and hands before burying their bodies. The New Jersey State Police has conducted a thorough investigation, which will enable us to secure justice for the victims.”

The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Yusuf Ibrahim of Jersey City, N.J., whom they apprehended Feb. 10. He has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of desecration of human remains.

Yeah. What a mystery. Why would anybody do something like that? Why does it keep happening over and over, around the world? Is there a common denominator here? Hmmmm.

This wasn’t a national story, because his name isn’t Chuck Johnson and he doesn’t belong to the local chapter of the Tea Party. He’s a member of a Designated Victim Group, and therefore the MSM turns a blind eye.

Willful blindness, pretending the motive is a mystery, won’t make the problem go away. It won’t prevent more attacks like this. Just look at London. Just look at Benghazi.

Just look around.

Update: And let’s not forget Muzzammil Hasan, the Buffalo entrepreneur who started America’s first Muslim TV channel in the English language. He had to resign as CEO in 2009, though, after he cut off his wife’s head. [Well, tecnically, that was an Honor Killing: He was embarrassed in the mosque by his wife’s behavior and was bringing shame on Islam, so she had to go.—Dorrie]
