Another Obama ‘red line’ warning draws laughter in Congress

Yet another red line drawn.

At a rare Saturday evening meeting by one of the House of Representative committees, a Massachusetts congressman inadvertently caused those in attendance to burst into laughter after he insisted Barack Obama had drawn yet another red line, as reported by the right-of-center news portal Cybercast News Service on Sept. 29, 2013.

During a hearing of the powerful House Rules Committee, the room couldn’t help but draw belly laughs from those in attendance when Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) talked tough to Rep. Hal Rogers (R-Ky.), who also is the Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, that Barack Obama is threatening to veto a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the government past Monday if it includes a House amendment to delay ObamaCare.

In essence, McGovern affirmed that Obama has set yet another “red line.”
