Prayer out for our good friend Snooper

He had another stroke, this one was mild, speech isn’t affected but shows weakness on the left side. Pray for our dear friend! We LOVE you Snooper. You need a place to recuperate, you’re welcome here. Iggys

    I spoke to Snooper on the phone this morning. He’s still in the hospital and will need a surgery for a biopsy, nothing to do with the stroke. He didn’t go into detail and I didn’t press. Please continue to pray for him. He’s all alone in Texas so we are his prayer team. Thanks! I love you all!! ❤

    VERY small doses of Potassium Amide for Strokes. Potassium will send TOO much blood too quickly around the body. I used to take 1/2″ a tab. I could see the difference within 2-3 days.

    Shhhh, I am 68….several years ago, my 100 lb Rottie saw a rabbit and jerked me down my front porch stairs. The back of my head hit all 3 steps as I fell to the concrete.
    It was 2 weeks before the damage showed up. I heard something “pop” in my brain…I ACTUALLY HEARD WHEN IT HAPPENED!
    Two capillaries had broken…one in the left brain mastoid area behind the ear and also the right.
    I was rushed to the hospital ER.
    HE CANNOT listen to the doctors he they say, “get ready for a nursing home.” MUST FIGHT BACK AND LET THE BRAIN HEAL.
    ANYWAY, I woke up in the hospital and the doctor said, “Call your family and friends. Call your pastor. You now have dementia and it will move into ALZ within a year.” (That was about 4 yrs ago.
    I have lived in the area for 30 yrs and couldn’t remember how to get home even as my daughter was driving me..nothing looked familiar at all!!

    The first couple of weeks, I cried, sobbed, became very fearful. THEN I CHANGED. I GOT VERY ANGRY and just said, “NO! I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS! I WILL GET WELL” After my outburst, it was as if someone took my hand and guided me to my bookshelf. I put my hand right on the book I needed to read. I opened the book to exactly the right page.

    Years ago, Roger Sperry, Nobel Prize winner, wrote a book about his discovery that it is THE “Mind that has Causal Potency.”….do not confuse that with brain or intellect. His research was specifically directed at those children who have Epilepsy. No, they will NEVER be Nobel Prize Winners. No, they will never be in the Olympics. Their brains are damaged. BUT! They were able to get jobs and work. No, they will never be CEO or President BUT they can function at work and in society.

    What he won the Nobel Prize for … in laymen’s terms. IF one part of the brain is damaged? Since the brain is OUR COMPUTER….we instruct it to “reroute” itself to FIND he answer for us that we need. The Brain is kinda like Google…you tell what you want it to find! And, it does.

    Let me use the example of…..let’s say it is your left brain (math, rational thought) is damaged. You focus on asking your brain (your very own Google Engine with ever memory you have ever had and all the knowledge you have ever accumulated…your right brain, which IS imagination, intuition, sensing, feeling, dreams, etc. WILL FIND IT FOR YOU…it may be revealed in a picture, or a piece you read quite a while back….whatever! Trust!

    Well, did it work? You know me know. Do I seem as though I have ever been brain damaged? Or, act as though I should be put in a nursing home? Because that is where my doctor wanted to send me!

    It isn’t work! You defeat yourself if you are anxious or fearful. Have him relax and JUST TRUST. No, it won’t happen overnight…but it will happen. VISUALIZE what you need (right brain function)…vs. Left Brain…figuring it all out. Tell him to Be kind to yourself. Love and be gentle with yourself

    I have never seen my doctor since. I tried to tell him, Dr. I had 3 head injuries as a child. I have never been “A LEFT BRAIN PERSON.” He refused to listen; and I haven’t seen him since!

    Maybe(?) he will not be completely like he was BUT, this will help him improve dramatically. IF you need any more information, please let me know. And,for HIS sake, do NOT allow anyone to discourage him that he will get better!!! If they try..he needs to get angry and tell them something to the effect, “Don’t talk to me aobut it, unless we can all SEE me getting better and KNOW IT

      Josh said mild, speech is fine but slight weakness on the left side. I offered for him to come and stay here, but 42 is freezing for him! It’s -2 right now and 25 inches of snow…

        I know that I know….the vitamin I was told about that helps THE MOST with stroke victims. I will think hard and let you know. IT DOES HELP! I remember being elated because I knew the person who improved when taking it. It is one of the “B” Vitamins.
        I know! Potassium Amide is supposed to be good…really good…BUT! you have to take a lower does….don’t tell him about this until I think back and I will look in my files for it. It sends a signal to the brain “wake up!”….and feeds the brain.
        Is one side of his body effected? Or both sides?

        Left side is the logical side of the brain (math, sciences, common arithmetic, logic)…..HE CAN re-train his brain….WE tell the brain “verbally” what information we want (The right side responds). For example: “I want to know…..” It might be the next day…or a day after that. A sudden thought will cross his mind…and tell him to “consciously” expand that subject matter as far as he gain to continue adding more data to his right brain. The right side WILL compensate for the left. The answers will come out as a sudden “visual”; or even a day dream (and I had dreams at night for my answers).
        It takes patience and A DESIRE to get better.

        Before it happened, I had been blogging on Yahoo Buz. I couldn’t remember squat! So? I got back on Yahoo Buzz and sat there for days reading. Oh, I’d comment back…just to get back involved…but! It would be a “re-phrase” of what the blogger already said.. I WAS HAPPILY SURPRISED when the right brain reached, somehow, down in the memory banks and started spitting our past memories about the subject matter. IN OTHER WORDS, my right brain was working to “re-build” my information data.

        I swear, everything I am saying is true. He has to finish his grieving process…THEN GET ANGRY AND FIGHT BACK to regain his memories and start building again. It is important that he “love himself and be patient with himself right now. IT DOES WORK…then when it starts working, it is like the brain goes into over drive..
