On A Constitutionalist Note….“The time is now near at hand which must determine whether Americans are to be freemen or slaves.” Father of Our Country – George Washington 1776……………………………………………………………………In Memoriam: "War" – Andrew Breitbart – Father of Our New Media (1969-2012)
February 13, 2014Dear Friends,
In the American Spectator this week, Paul Kengor wrote that, “the coarsening that America is undergoing in this current assault on our most basic First Amendment freedoms is undermining the Shining City on a Hill that Ronald Reagan so cherished.”
And he’s right. Monday is Presidents’ Day. This week, remember the original makers of America and try to live out their legacy of honesty, integrity and hard work. Here are some of the highlight reels from my recent debate with Bill Ayers.
When asked about the Second Amendment, Ayers said “we should disarm” and put serious limits on citizens who own guns. He also said the “Constitution is there to be changed.”
If you ask me, we should give the same respect to the Second Amendment as we give to the First Amendment.
Ayers believes that “American exceptionalism leaves us with a sense that we are the best and everybody should be like us.”
I believe America is the great defender of wealth creation. America created the sense of great possibility. We should fight to widen the pie, not just to redistribute the pie.

Just recently, I did an extensive interview with Jerome Corsi from WND. I shared how the debate with Ayers came about, what to anticipate in my upcoming new film America, and the political nature of the Obama administration’s retribution against conservative parties in the country.
My co-producer, Gerald Molen wrote an op-ed at The Wrap. Here’s a preview: “Artists like me were gravely concerned when Dinesh D’Souza was arrested by the very government whose leader he had the temerity to forcefully speak out against.” This is an article you’ll want to share with your friends.
Until next week,
Dinesh D’Souza
