If anyone believes this collectivist Cuomo, you should go immediately to your local mental health hospital and sign yourself in…what part of “YOU’RE NOT WELCOME IN NEW YORK” DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?
Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino questioned Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s decision to hire a prominent Republican consultant to the state’s payroll, saying, “She better be doing government work.”
Cuomo raised eyebrows earlier this week when he hired Susan Del Percio, a longtime GOP consultant in New York, as his special adviser. She’s being paid $160,000 a year. The move comes as Cuomo is seeking reelection in the fall and courting Republican support for his bid. Del Percio, also a political contributor on MSNBC, will focus on operations and special projects, Cuomo announced. “Even with his $30 million, he doesn’t have enough to buy off everybody,” Astorino said on the radio program Live from the State Capitol with Fred Dicker . “And all I want to do is talk to the people of this state in a very honest way. That’s why I’m traveling the state.”
Astorino didn’t hit Cuomo too hard over it, though. Del Percio used to work with Astorino’s close political advisers. http://rochesterdemocrat.ny.newsmemory.com/
