CAIRO, March 25, 2014 – Today began the Muslim Brotherhood trials for 682 members, including Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, 70. The same court that tried, convicted and sentenced in absentia 529 members of the Muslim Brotherhood to death is presiding over this case.

Major news sources who are covering this story are treating it as an absolute horror. CNN is even distorting facts, claiming that hundreds of the Muslim Brotherhood were shot by soldiers while doing a sit-in. CNN ignored that the ikhwan had set up battlements and possessed weapons. In addition, this writer spoke with one Egyptian on the ground in Cairo that first night who revealed it was likely that those who were killed did not have battle wounds. They were shot once in the head or once in the chest, leaving many more questions.
