His remarls were neither offensive or derogatory, they are the truth for many urban blacks. Bundy is of an age where the term Negro was the language blacks themselves requested people use.
Rewriting history doesn’t change the circumstances of the past or present…it is just the use of indoctrination and propaganda to demonize people you disagree with.
Update: There’s now video out of Bundy making the remarks.
Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy has come under heavy fire for reportedly making racially charged remarks about “the Negro” and whether blacks might be “better off as slaves, picking cotton.”

The New York Times first reported the controversial comments.
“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro,” Bundy said Saturday, according to the Times, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.”
“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he continued. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”

NO ONE from the U.S. sailed to Africa to kidnap Africans.
After a trial war….the losers were sold into slavery.
Criminals were also sold into slavery.
THEY SOLD THEIR OWN RACE OUT

They also had “White Slaves.”

It is important to realize that Mr.Bundy grew up during a time period where there was a civil rights movement. That taken into consideration that Mr.Bundy was raised up as a Mormon , or LDS. These facts have a bearing on his reasoning, his thoughts and his words. It doesn’t mean that he is racist, It is a simple fact, of his culture and life experience. Also, I would tender to you , that Mr. Bundy is trying to express himself as best he can. He is not a racist , in my opinion. This issue is not about the BLM, or the Desert Turtle. For Americans, it is about the Radicalized and Militarized Police State that seems to have the power to destroy anything they wish , without consequence.

The Black Women are the leaders in abortion
Black Men lead being jailed
Where I live the blacks sit on their front porch all summer long, ages in the 20s, 30s, 40s and so on, not working, even though there is no good reason why not
They are on welfare and choose to stay there
I know this black woman who lies to the government about her income and the government pays 75% of her utility bills, on food stamps and social security
I asked her why she does this
She answered
The government owes her because of slavery
At least working in the fields kept their body and mind productive
