Calgary – New parents were surprised to find a Mother’s Day surprise on their brunch receipt after dining at a Canadian restaurant.
They posted on the site Reddit that their one-year-old daughter was apparently was so well behaved the restaurant gave them a $5 discount.
The family posted the receipt from Carino Japanese Bistro in Calgary on Reddit.
We confirmed with the restaurant that they did infact give the discount.
The owner, Toshi Karino, tells us they give discounts regularly when they see a “heartwarming scene.”
