Leftists like Barack Obama tend to believe that the world will conform to their fantasy-based analysis. They think that the jihadis in Gitmo and Camp Bucca in Iraq are just illiterate farmers caught up in a wave of “Islamophobia,” and will go back to their bucolic lives upon release. The reality of the Islamic jihad is not in their minds at all. They think that these pious, gentle and wise Muslims are simply reacting to provocations from the U.S., and that if those provocations are removed and the U.S. shows good will, all will be well.

Reality will continue to impinge upon these fantasies, but the mainstream media will continue to cover for him, and obscure the harshest realities from the American people.
