Darlene Ford got in line at 9 a.m. Sunday for a ticket and says she would have come Saturday night if her husband hadn’t stopped her first.

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – Some people may think Darlene Ford is a little nuts for getting in line three days early to try and see President Barack Obama speak.

The White House said Obama will arrive in Kansas City on Tuesday evening and is scheduled to talk about the economy Wednesday morning at the Uptown Theatre.

The speaking event in Midtown is open to the public, but free tickets will be handed out to the public Monday morning.
