Leader In Afghan Islamic Party: We Are Considering Joining ISIS
In a recent TV interview, Mirwais, a commander in the Afghani Hizb-e Islami, said: “We are waiting to see that [ISIS] have all that an Islamic caliphate requires. If they do, we are ready to join them.” “We are praying for their victory,” he added. The interview aired on BBC Arabic and was posted on the Internet on September 2, 2014.

ISIS Threatens Putin: We Will Liberate Chechnya And The Caucasus
In a video-clip posted on the Internet on August 31, 2014, ISIS militants speaking from Tabqa airbase in Syria threatened Russian President Putin, saying: “These are the Russian planes that you sent to Bashar. Allah willing, we will take them back to your own turf, and liberate Chechnya and the Caucasus.”
