Gotnews.com came under fire by both the left and the right for publishing Michael Brown’s Instagram photos.
And Gotnews.com editor-in-chief Charles C. Johnson continues to get death threats via Twitter, email and over the phone.
The purpose of this story was to show that Brown had a track record of advocating violence and liking drugs, two things that are relevant to discussing what may have transpired between Officer Darren Wilson and Michael Brown on August 9th. The instragram bio line “my hands my ammunition” is directly relevant as Officer Wilson’s supporters have claimed that Brown assaulted the officer.
Knowing the character of both men is essential to knowing what actually happened and unlike other organizations, Gotnews.com has a duty to reveal it to the public come what may.
Now Gotnews.com will publish Michael Brown’s tweets. Far from the narrative of media narrative of a “gentle giant,” the tweets reveal a young man prone to racial slurs and violent threats.
