The Islamic State has repeatedly called for jihad terror attacks in the U.S., and boasted that its jihadis are already here. Maybe they are just trying to “strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60). But the number of Muslims from the U.S. who have gone to join them in Iraq and Syria shows that they do have support here.
