Conservatives will probably not be surprised to hear that Dr. Ben Carson has little interest in serving as President Barack Obama’s surgeon general. His reasoning, however, may be a little different that what they might expect.
Dr. Carson recently appeared on Hugh Hewitt’s radio program and was asked if we would consider accepting such a nomination, if asked.
“No, no,” the retired neurosurgeon replied without hesitation.”Because if I would, if I were going to serve in that position, I would have to serve under someone that I trusted.”

There’s no reason to be. Dr. Carson just said he doesn’t trust President Obama.
