The mainstream media will NOT get away with spreading lies about Project Veritas. Yesterday, the Washington Post published an article about our invitation to the White House Social Media Summit. In that article, the Post WRONGLY reported that our ACORN videos from 2009 were “proved false.”
After they maliciously edited their original article to include this fabrication, our attorneys quickly sent these Post reporters a letter requesting a correction or a justification for their falsehood. They explained how our videos weren’t “proved false,” and that if needed, Veritas will take legal action. Within an hour, the Washington Post issued a correction.
This is a huge win for Veritas and for those the media malign through their lies and half-truths. You and I are taking them on toe-to-toe. We won’t let these tyrants continue to manipulate the truth. You can watch our full video about the Washington Post’s lie HERE. Be Brave!
